AMENDING THE CITY COOPERATION AGREEMENT
WITH MARINA VILLAGE
WHEREAS, City of Alameda and Alameda Marina Village and
Alameda Marina Associates ( hereinafter collectively referred to
as Marina Village) entered into a City Cooperation Agreement on
December 18, 1984 to implement the West End Community Improvement
Project Plan, and
WHEREAS, the City Cooperation Agreement provides for a
method of funding the development of project and off -site public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, Marina Village used its property as collateral
for the Issuance of Assessment Bonds to pay for financing the
Public Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda and Marina Village desire to
amend the agreement to provide for an additional advance from the
Marina Village Assessment District 84 -3 toward additional Project
Improvement costs; and
WHEREAS, the Project Public Improvements will benefit
adjacent, undeveloped properties and funds received from those
properties will be used to reimburse the cost of development
required of the assessed owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Alameda hereby approves and authorizes the amendment to
the City Cooperation Agreement.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 21st of February, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camioj=a, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES:
ABSENT: None.
