AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO
TRUCK #1 PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 3-15 AND 3-15.1
OF THE CITY CHARTER
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1988, a certification test for
Truck #1 revealed that emergency repairs to the ladder were
required; and
WHEREAS, after contacting several firms, HI-TECH
Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc., repaired Truck #1 to the Fire
Department's satisfaction and said truck is back in service at
a cost of $7,797.40 with funds being available from the Fire
Department repair and maintenance budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Sections 3-15 and 3-15.1 of the City
. Charter payment in the amount of $7,797.40 to HI-TECH Emergency
Vehicle Service, Inc. is hereby authorized for emergency repairs
0 3:n-to Truck #1 with the cost to be funded from from the Fire
Department repair and maintenance budget.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 21st of February, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci1members Arnerich, Camicia, Nonsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
