COMMENDING ROBERT H. LOFSTRAND FOR HIS SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AS THE CITY AUDITOR
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA records its
appreciation for the eight years of service faithfully
rendered by ROBERT LOFSTRAND as Auditor of the City of
Alameda; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT H. LOFSTRAND was elected to the
Office of City Auditor commencing May 19, 1981, re-elected on
April 16, 1985, and served from 1981 until 1989; and
WHEREAS, the members of the City Council recognize the
services rendered by ROBERT H. LOFSTRAND; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Alameda does hereby express its appreciation for his
contributions of effort and experience for the benefit of the
community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda, City Staff, and his friends throughout the community
extend to ROBERT H. LOFSTRAND their congratulations and best
wishes for continued good health, success, and much happiness.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 18th of April, 1989,
