APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP 6000, A SUBDIVISION OF
AN APPROXIMATELY 0.514 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LINCOLN AVENUE AND
CHESTNUT STREET, FINDING SAID TENTATIVE MAP
CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S` GENERAL PLAN AND
DETERMINING THAT DISCHARGE OF WATER INTO THE
SEWER SYSTEM WILL NOT VIOLATE REGIONAL WATER
QUALITY CONTROL REGULATIONS
WHEREAS, JTA, Inc., subdivider herein for Henry Chan,
owner, has presented to the Council for approval a Tentative Map
for Tract 6000, a subdivision to create eight (8) single- family
residential lots served by a common drive from a currently vacant
parcel 22,000 square feet in area ( approximately 0.514 acres) at
the southeast corner of Lincoln Avenue and Chestnut Street; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda may take
action on this matter since it is a judicially approved exception
from the Guyton case Superior Court order; and
WHEREAS, said Council, on May 16, 1989, held a public
hearing on Tentative Map 6000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11 -3112 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, the Tentative Map for Tract 6000, heretofore
accepted and approved by the Planning Board on February 14, 1989,
is hereby approved, based upon the findings and subject to the
conditions contained in City of Alameda Planning Board Resolution
No. 1933.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council hereby
finds the Tentative Map for Tract 6000 is consistent with the
-City's General Plan, and pursuant to Section 11- 3112(h)
determines that discharge of waste from the subdivision into the
sewer system will not violate regional water quality control
regulations.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Ordinance was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 16th of May, 1989,
