Resolution 11765CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11765 RESERVING DWELLING UNIT TAX FUNDS FOR FUTURE CONSTRUCTION OF A QUALITY HARDBALL FACILITY WHEREAS, on June 6, 1989 the City Council approved a resolution supporting the need for a quality hardball facility in Alameda; and WHEREAS, on June 8, 1989, the Recreation Commission recommended that a report be sent to the City Council requesting $700,000 in dwelling unit tax be reserved for future construction of a hardball facility once a suitable location is found; and WHEREAS, the Council, under review of the report by the Recreation Commission, agrees with the request by the Recreation Commission, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that $700,000 be reserved for construction of a quality hardball facility until a suitable location for construction can be identified. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of July, 1989, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas, Withrow and President Corica -- 5.
