AUTHORIZING A GENERAL FUND LOAN TO THE COMMUNITY
IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989 -1990
WHEREAS, the Alameda Community Improvement Commission
(CIC) was formed in August 1982 to reduce and eliminate aspects
of visual, economic, physical and social blight within the West
End Community Improvement Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed CIC budget for fiscal year 1989 -90 provides
for $1,727,707.00 to be expended by the Commission, which
includes an inter -fund loan between the City's General Fund and
the CIC in the amount of $116,441.00, and
WHEREAS, the CIC budget as presented provides the
necessary operating funds for the upcoming fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Alameda hereby authorizes an inter -fund loan from the
City's General Fund to the Community Improvement Commission in an
amount not to exceed $116,441.00 for fiscal year 1989 -1990.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 18th of July, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas,
Withrow, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
