AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
TRACT 6000 (SOUTHEAST CORNER CHESTNUT STREET AND LINCOLN AVENUE)
HENRY F. CHAN, ET AL., SUBDIVIDERS
AND APPROVING BONDS AS TO SUFFICIENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of
the Alameda Municipal Code, Henry F. Chan, Donald F. Chan,
David F. Chan and Eddie C. Cheung, subdividers herein, have
prepared and presented to this Council the Final Map of the
Subdivision known as Tract 6000; and
WHEREAS, subdividers have executed an agreement to
construct and complete the improvements in said subdivision, have
filed the final Map therefor for approval at this time, and have
posted bonds guaranteeing full and faithful performance of
said work, all in accordance with said Article; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the advantage and benefit of the
City to have said work performed in accordance with said
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the agreement for construction and completion of
the public improvements in said subdivision, and all its terms
and conditions be, and hereby is, approved and the City Manager
and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest
to, respectively, said agreement on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bonds in the sum of
$72,482 guaranteeing full and faithful performance of the
subdividers said public improvements construction contract, are
hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the first of August, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas,
Withrow, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of said City this second day of
August, 1989.
