Resolution 11813CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 11813 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA APPROVING A STREET NAME CHANGE FOR THAT PORTION OF SHERMAN STREET NORTH OF THE ALAMEDA BELT LINE TRACKS TO ATLANTIC AVENUE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda has considered the street name change for that portion of Sherman Street north of the Alameda Belt Line tracks to Atlantic Avenue; and WHEREAS, said City Council has held a public hearing on this matter and has examined pertinent maps, drawings, and documents; and WHEREAS, the City Council has made the following finding: I. The transition in name from Atlantic Averue to Sherman Street at the Alameda Belt Line railroad crossing will provide a logical point of change in the street pattern. This change will occur at a point that will facilitate the driver's recognition of the street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby approves this street name change. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that-the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 6th of September, 1989, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Thomas, Withrow and President Corica - 4. NOES: None. ABSENT: Councilmember Camicia - 1.
