APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS TRACT
6118 AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF
ACCESS (HARBOR BAY ISLE VILLAGE FIVE)
WHEREAS, Tract 6118 consists of 62 residential lots
located within neighborhood "C" of Vesting Tentative Map Tract
5905; and
WHEREAS, there has been heretofore filed with and
approved by this Council a Vesting Tentative Map of that certain
proposed subdivision known as Tract 5905; and
WHEREAS, Harbor Bay Isle Village V Associates, a
California limited partnership, has presented to the Council for
approval a Final Map of that proposed subdivision known as Tract
6118 located within Vesting Tentative Map Tract 5905, Village V
of Harbor Bay Isle, which is located westerly of Aughinbaugh Way
to the shoreline park, southerly of Village IV to the Business
Park, on Bay Farm Island; and
WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates thereon 1) certain
non - exclusive easements for public utilities and their
appurtenances and the right to construct, maintain and replace
such utilities, facilities, and their appurtenances, under, on
and over the strips or parcels of land designated "Public
Utilities Easement ", dedicated to the public; and 2) certain
rights of access over Sharon Road, Ellis Way, Ellis Court,
Rutland Court, McDonnel Road, Orr Road, and Orr Court for
operations of public safety vehicles and emergency equipment,
dedicated to the City cf Alameda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Final Map of Tract 6118 be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements dedicated to
the public and rights of access dedicated to the City of Alameda
are hereby accepted, on behalf of the public and the City, for
use in conformity with the terms of the offers of dedication.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that-the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular
meeting assembled on the 6th of September, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas,
Withrow and President Corica 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
