Resolution 11826CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11826 AWARDING CONTRACT TO GATEWAY LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF HOUSE LATERALS AND OTHER WORK CONNECTED THEREWITH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1990, NO. P.W. 7 -89 -8, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore published notice calling for bids for the Installation of House Laterals and Other Work Connected Therewith for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 1990, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 7 -89 -8 approved August 1, 1989; and WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was submitted by Gateway Landscape Construction agreeing to perform said work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $69,481.75; and WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal is the lowest and best bid received; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the bid of Gateway Landscape Construction is hereby accepted, the contract for the Installation of 'House Laterals and Other Work Connected Therewith for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 1990, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda. tQ Fyn ATTORNEY I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th of September, 1989, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Thomas, Withrow and Acting President Arnerich - 4.
