AWARDING CONTRACT TO ST. FRANCIS ELECTRIC FOR LIGHT
INSTALLATION AT THE BAY FARM ISLAND BRIDGE PATHWAY, NO.
P.W. 4-89-1, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Light Installation at the Bay
Farm Island Bridge Pathway in accordance with Specifications No.
P.W. 4-89-1 approved September 5, 1989; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was submitted
by St. Francis Electric agreeing to perform said work in accordance
with said Specifications for the sum of $8,100.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the bid of St. Francis Electric is hereby accepted,
the contract for Light Installation at the Bay Farm Island Bridge
Pathway is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract
on behalf of the City of Alameda.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 3rd of October, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas, Withrow
and President Corica - 5,
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None,
