APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR ENCROACHMENT PERMITS ON STATE HIGHWAY IN THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented an Agreement to Issue
Routine Encroachment Permits on State Highway in the City of Alameda,
effective as of July 1, 1989, and to remain in effect until amended or
terminated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of said
agreem €r.t and desires said City to enter into same;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that said Agreement to Issue Routine Encroachment Permits on State
Highway in the City of Alameda is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City and the City
Clerk is directed to attest to same.

Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 3rd of October, 1989,
