CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
IN THE MATTER OF THE REPAIR OF SIDEWALK,
DRIVEWAY, CURB OR GUTTER IN FRONT OF PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 1520 WILLOW STREET, AND DIRECTING THE
FILING OF A NOTICE OF LIEN ON SAID PROPERTY
WITH THE COUNTY AUDITOR
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets has filed with the City
Council his report on repair by the City of the sidewalk, driveway,
curb or gutter in front of the real property known as 1520 Willow
Street, Alameda, California, said report setting forth the cost of
such repairs and incidental expenses as being in the amount of
$826.38, no part of which has been paid; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly given, said Council did hold
a hearing on said matter for the purpose of examining and
considering said report and any objections or protests; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of streets has followed the notice'
and hearing requirements for repairs on sidewalks and assessments
of costs under Streets and Highways Code Sections 5600 et seq.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the itemized statement of the expense submitted by the
Superintendent of Streets in the aforesaid matter be, and the same
is hereby confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Superintendent of Streets be,
and he is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Lien on the
property known as 1520 Willow Street, Alameda, California in the
amount of $826.38, and to file said Notice of Lien with the Auditor of the County of Alameda for collection of the amount of said lien
pursuant to the provisions of Section 5628 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a delayed payment program be
permitted whereby ten percent (10 %) interest on an annualized basis
will be charged, and the Public Works Director shall. determine
whether the lien is to be applied.

the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 3rd of October, 1989,
