ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS AND PROVISIONS FOR
TRANSIT MIX CONCRETE MATERIAL FOR THE PERIOD
COMMENCING DECEMBER 1, 1989, THROUGH THE
PERIOD ENDING NOVEMBER 30, 1990, CALLING FOR
BIDS, AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME
WHEREAS, specifications and provisions have been prepared
for the provision of transit mix concrete material to the City of
Alameda for the period commencing December 1, 1989, through the
period ending November 30, 1990, numbered M.S.P. 10-89-1, and filed
in the office of the City Clerk on November 7, 1989; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Specifications be, and the same are, hereby
approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock
a.m. on Monday, November 20, 1989, for furnishing to the City of
Alameda transit mix concrete material. Bids must be presented to
the City and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for the
Provision of Transit Mix Concrete Material for the Period
Commencing December 1, 1989, through the Period ending November 30,
1990," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the
provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the
responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right
is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the office of the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
Alameda California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance
with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications.
