AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR
CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN
CONNECTION WITH SUBDIVISION TRACT 6111 AND
APPROVING BONDS AS TO SUFFICIENCY
(NEIGHBORHOOD "B" VILLAGE V, HARBOR BAY ISLE)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of the
Alameda Municipal Code, Harbor Bay Isle Village Five Associates,
a California limited partnership, owner and subdivider herein, have
prepared and presented to this Council the Final Map of the
Subdivision known as Tract 6111; and
WHEREAS, subdivider has entered into an agreement to construct
and complete the improvements in said subdivision, has filed the
final map therefor for approval at this time, and has posted its
bonds guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all
in accordance with said Article; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the advantage and benefit of the City
to have said work performed in accordance with said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the agreement for construction and completion of the
public improvements in said subdivision, and all its terms and
conditions be, and hereby are, approved and the City Manager and
the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest
to, respectively, said agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bonds in the total sum of
$4,000,000, guaranteeing full and faithful performance of the
subdivider's said public improvements construction contract, are
hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of
November, 1989, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci1members Axnerich, Camicia, Withrow and President Corica - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Thomas - 1.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
