Resolution 11968CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11968 AUTHORIZING THE EMERGENCY REPAIRS AT NORTHSIDE AND WEBSTER STORM PUMP STATIONS PURSUANT TO SECTION 3 -15 OF THE CITY CHARTER AND APPROPRIATING $28,177.21 FROM THE SEWER SERVICE FUND WHEREAS, Pump #2 of the Webster storm pump plant, and Pump #3 at the Northside storm pump plant sustained damage as a result of heavy rains occurring on January 20, 1990, and WHEREAS, it was determined that emergency repairs were required; and WHEREAS, Section 3 -15 of the City Charter provides that if great necessity or emergency requires immediate action, the City Council may determine by its action to effect emergency purchases in excess of $5,000 in the open market; WHEREAS, the total cost of the work to repair the Northside pump and the Webster pump was $28,177.21; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that emergency repairs required immediate action. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda authorizes the expenditure in the amount of $28,177.21 from the Sewer Fund for the subject repairs pursuant to Section 3- 15 of the City Charter. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of June , 1990 by the following vote to wit: AYES: NOES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas, Withrow and President Corica - 5.
