Resolution 12253CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12253 AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE CITY'S OBLIGATION UNDER THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda, acting pursuant to the provisions of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.), has activated the Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda (the "Commission") and has declared itself to constitute the Commission by Ordinance No. 2103, adopted on August 4, 1982; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law, the Commission is performing a public function of the City and may have access to services and facilities of the City; and City will render for and make available to the Commission in the Community Redevelopment Law; and furtherance of the activities and functions of the Commission under:D. (1) Set forth activities, services and facilities which the the City and the Commission have entered into Cooperation Agreement in order to: „ Oa — 0 , CI. CD -r WHEREAS, m (2) Provide that the Commission will reimburse the City for -I actions undertaken and costs and expenses incurred by it, for and al on behalf of the Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby appropriates, and directs and authorizes the Finance Director of the City to establish a budget encumbrance for the City's obligations under the Cooperation Agreement in the amount of $295,000 for fiscal year 1992-93. • I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of June , 1992, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Lucas, Roth and President Withrow - 5.
