APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 6343, MARINA AND PARKING LOT,
AND PARCEL MAP 6340, SHIPWAY RESIDENTIAL, AND ACCEPTING
DEDICATION OF PARCELS FOR PUBLIC USE. (ALAMEDA MARINA
VILLAGE)
WHEREAS, Parcel Maps 6343 and 6340 were approved by the
City of Alameda Planning Board on August 24, 1992, Resolution
Numbers 2343 and 2344; and
WHEREAS, Parcel Maps 6343 and 6340 were found to be in
conformance with the City's General Plan and California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, pursuant to a
Revised Negative Declaration certified by the City Council on
July 7, 1992, a copy of which is on file in the City Clerk's
Office for review; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider as to Parcel Map 6343 dedicates,
the 1.38 ± acre parcel designated as Parcel 2 to the City of
Alameda for Public Use; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider as to Parcel Map 6340 dedicates
the 0.95 ± acre parcel and 1.44 ± acre parcel, designated as
Parcels 2 and 3 respectively, to the City of Alameda for Public
Use; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Division has reviewed Parcel
Maps 6343 and 6340, and has proposed a number of Conditions of
Approval which have been incorporated as Conditions of Approval
in Planning Board Resolutions Numbers 2343 and 2344.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that pursuant to Section 30-78.2 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Maps 6343 and 6340, hereto accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, are hereby approved
and permission given to the subdivider to record same, based upon
the findings and subject to the conditions set forth in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution Numbers 2343 and 2344.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the parcels for public use dedicated to the City of
Alameda are hereby accepted on behalf of the City, for use in
conformity with the terms of the offers of dedication.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that a Certified Copy of this Resolution shall be
recorded simultaneously with Parcel Maps 6343 amd 6340.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of
September 1992, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Lucas, Roth
and President Withrow - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
