AMENDING MASTER FEE RESOLUTION NO. 12191
RELATING TO LICENSE FEES FOR DOGS AND CATS
WHEREAS, the Alameda Municipal Code and the California
Government Code provide that the City Council may set fees for
reasonable cost of providing various services by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, at the August 27, 1991 Special
City Council meeting, directed City staff to amend the Alameda
Municipal Code to reflect that City fees shall .be set by City
Council Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12191 ("Master Fee Resolution"),
as amended, codifies existing fees for various City services and
permits;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the License
0 Fees for Dogs and Cats are a reasonable cost for providing the
service; and

as WHEREAS, there shall be no license fee imposed for cats
which are licensed through June 30, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda, that City Council hereby amends that portion of the
Master Fee Resolution pertaining to the licensing fees for dogs and
cats; as detailed in Exhibit A attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall not
become effective until the effective date of the adoption of the
required implementing ordinance.

An additional fee of nine ($9.00) dollars shall be charged if
the above mentioned license is not obtained within forty-five (45)
days after the date requiring the license.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of
December , 1992, by the following vote to wit:
Councilmembers Anpezzato, Arnerich, Roth and
President Withrow- 4.
