Resolution 12365CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12365 APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE ALAMEDA POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION AND THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR THE YEARS JANUARY 1, 1993 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1994 WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this Council a Memorandum of Understanding between the Alameda Police Officers Association and the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has fully examined said proposed Memorandum of Understanding, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and thereby finds and determines adoption of said document to be in the best interest of the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby approves and adopts said proposed Memorandum of Understanding. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall supersede any other Resolution in conflict herewith. Diane .-Felsoh, City Clerk City of Alameda CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12366 AUTHORIZING A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION FOR THE NATIONAL SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION TREE PLANTING PROGRAM FOR 1993 WHEREAS, the Small Business Administration (SBA) Tree Planting Program funds grants to states for the purpose of stimulating small businesses and providing increased job opportunities in local communities; and WHEREAS, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) administers this grant program in California and is accepting applications from state or local government agencies for various tree planting projects; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is an eligible agency for this grant program; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is responsible for the care and maintenance of the City's street trees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Alameda City Council authorizes the grant application to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection for the National Small Business Administration tree planting program for 1993, and authorizes the Public Works Director to act as the City's agent in all matters concerning the grant agreements. * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of February , 1993, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Appezzato, Arnerich, Lucas, Roth and President Withrow - 5.
