CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12377
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF HEARING FOR
ALAMEDA SPECIAL ASSESSMENT IMPROVEMENT PROCEDURE LAW
WHEREAS, the City Council has introduced an ordinance
providing for the City of Alameda Special Assessment Improvement
Procedures Law, including general provisions and definitions,
powers and procedures for the purpose of providing financing for
specified purposes, and certain other supplemental provisions; and
WHEREAS, Section 3-90-13 (Hearing) of the aforesaid
Special Assessment Improvement Procedure Law provides that there
shall be at least one hearing by the City Council, and that notice
requirements for hearings shall be set by City Council resolution;
and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 54954.6 contains
cc requirements for notice of public meeting on assessments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Alameda that notice of said hearing shall be provided in
accordance with Government Code Section 54954.6
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall not
become effective until the effective date of the adoption of
required implementing ordinance.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of
Ppril , 1993, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Lucas, Roth and
President Withrow - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Appezzato - 1.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
