APPOINTING LEE HARRIS AS A MEMBER OF THE
PLANNING BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
pursuant to the provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, LEE HARRIS is hereby
appointed to the office of member of the Planning Board of the City
of Alameda to fill the unexpired term of Wilfred H. Hodgkin
commencing September 7, 1993. The term currently expires on June
30, 1994, but is hereby extended to June 30, 1996, to satisfy the
provisions of City Charter Section 10-4.1, that no more than two
terms of the Planning Board shall expire in any year other than by
resignation of a member.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of
September , 1993, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Appezzato, Arnerich, Lucas, Roth
and President Withrow - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
