APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 5984, LOCATED AT
1226/1228 REGENT STREET, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
CONDITIONS AND GRANTING AN EXCEPTION FROM
SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE SECTION 30 -84.7
REQUIRING UNDERGROUNDING OF THE UTILITIES
WHEREAS, the owner and subdivider herein, has presented
to the City of Alameda for approval Parcel Map 5984, to subdivide
a division of property located at 1226 /1228 Regent Street; and
WHEREAS, Parcel Map 5984 was approved by the City of
Alameda Planning Board on August 9, 1993 by Planning Board
Resolution No. 2422; and
WHEREAS, Parcel Map 5984 was found to be in conformance
with the City's General Plan and is categorically exempt pursuant
to Section 15315 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that Parcel Map 5984, hereto accepted and conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved and permission
given to the subdivider to record same, based upon the findings and
subject to the conditions set forth in the City of Alameda Planning
Board Resolution No. 2422.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the requested exception to Section 30 -84.7 of the City
of Alameda Subdivision Ordinance is hereby granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that a Certified Copy of this Resolution shall be recorded
simultaneously with Parcel Map 5984.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 3rd
day of November , 1993, by the following vote to wit:
