APPOINTING BARRY E. CHINN AS A MEMBER OF THE
CITY CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda
that pursuant to the provisions of Article X of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, BARRY E. CHINN
is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Civil Service
Board of the City of Alameda to fill the unexpired term of Pamela
G. DeSimone commencing on December 22, 1993 and expiring on June
30, 1994, and to serve until his successor is appointed and :1
qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of
December , 1993, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Appezzato, Arnerich, Lucas,
Roth and President Withrow - 5.
NOES: None.

ABSTENTIONS: None.
