Resolution 12514CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12514 AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF GRANT APPLICATION FOR FUNDS FOR 1) ELECTRIC VEHICLE POOL CAR PROGRAM, AND 2) TRACKING SOFTWARE FOR DELEGATION OF BAAQMD REGULATION 13, RULE 1 WHEREAS, pursuant to the rules and regulations that have been adopted by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District ( "BAAQMD ") in accordance with Health and Safety Code sections 44223, 44233, 44241, 44242, 44243, and 44244 (AB 434) enacted in October, 1991, an eligible claimant wishing to receive allocation from "60% funds" shall file its applications with the BAAQMD; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda, as a public agency responsible for implementing projects or programs which achieve emission reductions by effectively developing and implementing specific transportation control measures, is eligible to submit projects or programs for "60% funds" which are directly administered by BAAQMD; and WHEREAS, two projects that are eligible for said funds are 1) Electric Vehicle Pool Car Program with an estimated project cost of $129,000 and 2) Tracking Software for Delegation of BAAQMD Regulation 13, Rule 1, with an estimated cost of $7,000; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to apply for "60% funds ", execute all necessary documents, and carry out the proposed programs and projects, for 1) Electric Vehicle Pool Car Program, and 2) Tracking Software for Delegation of BAAQMD Regulation 13, Rule 1. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of April , 1994, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Appezzato, Arnerich, Lucas, Roth and President Withrow - 5.
