GRANTING AN ADDITIONAL
DESIGNATED PERIOD FOR
TWO YEARS ADDITIONAL SERVICE CREDIT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda is a
contracting Public Agency of the Public Employees' Retirement
System; and.
WHEREAS, said 'Public Agency desires to provide an
additional designated period for Two Years Additional Service
Credit, Section 20818, based on the contract amendment included in
said contract which provided for Section 20818, Two Years
Additional Service Credit, for eligible members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said City Council of
the City of Alameda does seek to add an additional designated
period, and does hereby authorize this Resolution, indicating a
desire to add an additional designated period from July 1, 1995
through September 30, 1995 for eligible miscellaneous members.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the leth day of
July , 1995, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, DeWitt, Lucas,
Mannix and President Appezzato - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
