Resolution 12727CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12727 APPROVING REVISED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND SALARY RESOLUTION BETWEEN THE UNITED PUBLIC EMPLOYEES, LOCAL 790 S.E.I.U. AND THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1995 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1998 WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this Council a Memorandum of Understanding between the United Public Employees, Local 790 S.E.I.U. and the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has fully examined said proposed Memorandum of Understanding, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and thereby finds and determines adoption of said documents to be in the best interest of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby approves and adopts said revised Memorandum of Understanding. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the position classifications, ;H salary rates, salary ranges and salary steps set out in said Memorandum of Understanding are hereby designated as those applicable to the respective classifications in the service of the City of Alameda, effective January 1, 1995. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provision of this Resolution shall supersede any other resolution in conflict herewith. APPENDIX A UNITED PUBLIC EMPLOYEES LOCAL 790 S.E.I.U. For the classification of Police Technician I, additional salary steps 6 and 7 will be added 1/1/96 for employees with 5 and 6 years service with the City of Alameda as a Police Technician I. (Steps 6 and 7 to match Police Technician II Step 4 and 5). Effective January 1, 1997 an across the board wage increase of three percent (3.00 %). Effective January 1, 1998, the monthly salary ranges specified above will be adjusted by the amount of the change as measured by the difference in the November 1996 through November 1997 Consumer Price Index (SF - Bay Area 1982- 84= 100,W). In no event will any increase in the index result in an adjustment of more than Four Percent (4.00 %) to the above monthly salary ranges.
