AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR 1996-1997
TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDS
FOR PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC)
has allocated funds for Transportation Development Act (TDA)
Article 3, Pedestrian/Bicycle Projects for the fiscal year 1996-97;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to apply to the MTC
for the funding of a project: $73,000 for the Otis Drive Pedestrian
Sidewalk Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Alameda authorizes the filing of an application with
the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for allocation of
Transportation Development Act funds for fiscal year 1996-97 for
the project described above, and authorize the Public Works
Director to execution any necessary documents.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th
day of February , 1996, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, DeWitt, Lucas,
Mannix and President Appezzato - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSENTENTIONS: None.
