AMENDING MASTER FEE RESOLUTION NO. 12191
REVISING PERMIT APPLICATION FEE SCHEDULE FOR
CONCEALED WEAPON PERMITS AND MASSAGE TECHNICIAN PERMITS
WHEREAS, the Alameda Municipal Code and the California
Government Code provide that the City Council may set fees for
reasonable cost of providing various services by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, at the August 27, 1991 Special
City Council meeting directed City staff to amend the Alameda
Municipal Code to reflect that City fees shall be set by City
Council resolution; and.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12191 ("Master Fee Resolution"),
as amended codifies existing fees for various City services and
permits; and
WHEREAS, fees currently charged by the Alameda Police
Department for Concealed Weapon Permits and Massage Technician
Permits are inadequate to cover California State Department of
Justice (DOJ) charges to process fingerprinting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Alameda that Council hereby adopts the following revisions
to the City of Alameda Police Department Permit Application Fee
Schedule:
CCW (Concealed Weapon) Permit (initial)
CCW (Concealed Weapon) Permit (renewal)
Massage Technician

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all fees established by
Master Fee Resolution No. 12191 which are inconsistent with the
fees established by this resolution are hereby repealed.

of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd
