Resolution 12828CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12828 DECLARING DAYS AND TIME CITY HALL IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND REPEALING RESOLUTIONS NUMBER 3663 AND 12574 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 3663, adopted by the City Council on January 6, 1948, states that all municipal offices in the City of Alameda shall be kept open for business every day, except holidays, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., as shall be designated by the City Manager; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12574, adopted by the City Council on August 16, 1994, amended Resolution No. 3663 by expanding the hours City Hall is open for business to 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday and declared Friday as a holiday pursuant to Charter section 22-8; and WHEREAS, effective July 1, 1996, City Hall was reopened from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. WHEREAS, to keep and orderly record of the days City Hall is opened, Resolutions Number 3663 and 12574 are to be repealed and this Resolution adopted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City cf Alameda that City Hall shall be kept open for business, Monday through Friday, except holidays, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., as shall be designated by the City Manager. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that Resolutions Number 3663 and 12574 are hereby repealed. * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of October , 1996, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, DeWitt, Lucas and President Appezzato - 4.
