Resolution 12868o w ti o o CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12868 AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR 1997-98 TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDS FOR PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission has allocated funds for Transportation Development Act Article 3, Pedestrian/Bicycle Projects for the fiscal year 1997-98; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to apply to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for the funding of two projects: $50,000 for the Pedestrian Pathway along Westline Drive, Phase 1 and $50,000 for the Embarcadero Bay Trail Project Connector. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda authorizes the filing of applications with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for allocation of Transportation Development Act funds for fiscal year 1997-98 for the projects described above, and authorize the Public Works Director to execute any necessary documents. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of April , 1997, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Kerr, Lucas and President Appezzato - 5.
