AMENDING MASTER FEE RESOLUTION NO. 12191 REPEALING
PERSONNEL APPLICATION PROCESSING AND ORAL EXAM FEE
WHEREAS, the City Council, at the August 27, 1991 Special Council meeting,
directed Staff to amend the Alameda Municipal Code to reflect that City fees shall be set by City
Council Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12445, adopted by the City Council on August 19, 1993,
Amended Master Fee Resolution No. 12191, by establishing a $5.00 Personnel Application
rocessing Fee and $5.00 Oral Exam Fee; and
WHEREAS, in an effort to eliminate this cost to applicants for City positions and to
eate a positive initial impression of the City of Alameda for all applicants and hirees and because
ere is a significant value in removing these costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
aster Fee Resolution is hereby amended by repealing Personnel Services Application Fee and Oral
xam Fee in its entirety.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th
day of May , 1997, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Kerr, Lucas
and President Appezzato - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
