APPOINTING LYNDA OLSON AS A MEMBER OF
THE BAY AREA LIBRARY AND
INFORMATION SYSTEM LAY ADVISORY BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
pursuant to the requirements of the California Library Services Act
of 1977, and upon nomination of the Library Board of the City of
Alameda, Lynda Olson is hereby appointed member to the Bay Area
Library and Information System (BALIS) Lay Advisory Board for a two
year term commencing February 1, 1998.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd
day of February , 1998, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Kerr, Lucas
and President Appezzato - 5.
