CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13008
APPROVING INTERIM EXPENDITURES PRIOR TO
ADOPTION OF CITY OF ALAMEDA BUDGET
FOIE FISCAL YEAR 1998 -99
WHEREAS, State law requires that the City of Alameda adopt an annual budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999; and
WHEREAS, there will be submitted to the City Council at the meeting of July 7,
1998, the Operating Budget and Capital Improvements for fiscal year 1998 -99; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Operating Budget and Capital Improvements for Fiscal
Years 1998 -99 includes several expenditures prior to the adoption of the City of Alameda Operating
Budget and Capital Improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
. Alameda hereby approves interim expenditures of the City of Alameda prior to the approval of the
Ul City of Alameda Operating Budget and Capital Improvements for Fiscal year 1998 -99 at the levels
fx set by the City of Alameda Operating and Capital Improvement Budget for 1997 -98 to allow
12 payment of routine expenses including payroll and vendor expenses at prior year's level.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City is to pay rent for the Alameda Historical
Museum for the months of July and August, 1998 at the same rate paid for fiscal year 1997- 98.

adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on
the 16th day of June , 1998, by, the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Kerr, and
President Appezzato 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Lucas - 1.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
