AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999/00
TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) 3.0 FUNDS
FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF BICYCLE MASTER PLAN COSTS
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) has
allocated funds for Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article
3.0, Pedestrian/Bicycle Projects for the fiscal year 1999/00; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to apply to the MTC for
funding of one project: $35,000 for the City of Alameda Bicycle
Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Alameda authorizes the filing of applications with the MTC
for allocation of TDA Article 3.0 Funds for fiscal year 1999/00 for
the project described above, and authorizes the Public Works
Director to execute any necessary documents.
