Resolution 13162CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 1316 2 AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR BICYCLE TRANSPORTATION ACCOUNT (BTA) FUNDS FOR BICYCLE PROJECTS WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has allocated BTA funds for bicycle projects for the fiscal year 2000 /O1; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to apply to Caltrans for the funding of a project: $110,000 for a Harbor Bay Business Park Bikeway Access Project; and WHEREAS, BTA funding guidelines require that local agencies fund at least 10% of the total project cost; and WHEREAS, the City has $11,000 in funds available in Harbor Bay Island Transportation Improvement Fund (HBI TIF) to provide the local matching funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby authorizes the filing of an application with Caltrans for allocation of BTA funds for the project described above, authorize the necessary 10% local match and authorize the Public Works Director to execute any necessary documents. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of January , 2000, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and Mayor Appezzato - 5.
