Resolution 13167CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 1316 7 AMENDING MASTER FEE RESOLUTION NO. 12191 BY INCREASING VARIOUS CHUCK CORICA GOLF COMPLEX RATES WHEREAS, the Alameda Municipal Code and the California Government Code provide that the City Council may set fees for reasonable cost of providing various services by resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at the August 27, 1991 Special City Council meeting directed City staff to amend the Alameda Municipal Code to reflect that City fees shall be set by City Council resolution; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12191 ( "Master Fee Resolution "), as amended codifies existing fees for various City services and permits; and WHEREAS, on November 18, 1998, Phase I of a two -year proposed fee increase for various golf complex rates were revised and passed by the Golf Commission, effective January 1, 1999; and 0 WHEREAS, on January 5, 1999, the City Council approved Resolution No. 13082, Phase I of the two -year proposed fee increase for various golf complex rates; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Phase II of the proposed golf complex rates are reasonable for providing municipal services; and WHEREAS, the proposed fee increases are necessary to generate additional revenue for funding of needed Capital Improvement Projects at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex including the irrigation system of the Earl Fry Course NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the Chuck Corica Golf Complex rates, Phase II, attached hereto as Attachment A, be amended. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Phase II increases shall become effective January 10, 2000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all fees established by Master Fee Resolution No. 12191 and amended by Resolution No 12800, adopted July 2, 1996, Resolution No. 12942 adopted November 18, 1997, and Resolution No. 13082, adopted January 5, 1999, which are inconsistent with the fee established by this Resolution, are hereby repealed.
