CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO 13178
AMENDING CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13168
ESTABLISHING 2000, 2001 AND 2002 GARBAGE RATES
WHEREAS, in 1982 the City of Alameda entered into an agreement with the Oakland
Scavenger Company, now known as Waste Management Company, for garbage collection for a
20 -year period; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 13168 establishing the 2000, 2001 and 2002 garbage rates
was adopted; and
WHEREAS, rate line item e) which is the rate for commercial cubic yard garbage service
was incorrectly listed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the
Council amends Resolution 13168, item e), to read as:
2000 Rates 2001 Rates 2002 Rates
e) Cubic Yard Rate 14.67

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on
the 1st day of February , 2000, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson and Kerr - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mayor Appezzato - 1.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
