Resolution 13239CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13239 APPROVING THE REMOVAL OF 1504/1514/1534 EAST SHORE DRIVE AND 3309 TO 3330 CONSTANCE CIRCLE FROM THE HISTORICAL BUILDING STUDY LIST, HBSL -99 -04 WHEREAS, the East Shore Homeowners' Association requested that 1504/1514/1534 East Shore Drive and 3309 to 3330 Constance Circle be removed from the Historical Building Study List; and WHEREAS, application complete on February 22, 2000; and WHEREAS, the General Plan designation of the site is Low Density Residential; and WHEREAS, the parcel is located within the R -1, One Family Residence Zoning District; and WHEREAS, the Board has held a public hearings on this application on March 2, 2000 and May 4, 2000 and acted is deny the application; and WHEREAS on May 11, 2000 the matter was called up for review by the City Council; and WHEREAS the City Council held a public hearing on this matter on June 20, 2000; and WHEREAS, the City Council made the following finding: 1. The subject properties do not meet any of the criteria for inclusion in the Historical Building Study List, were constructed in during the late 1940's and 1950's and exemplify architectural styles from this era have not been recognized as important historic resources by the mainstream historical architectural and preservationist communities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves the removal of 1506/1514/1534 East Shore Drive and 3309 to 3330 Constance Circle from the Historical Building Study List. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of June , 2000, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and Mayor Appezzato 4.
