Resolution 13242CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13242 REQUESTING THE ALAMEDA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK/REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF THE CONSOLIDATED GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2000 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to Section 10002 of the California Elections Code, said Council hereby requests the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to permit the County Clerk/Registrar of Voters to render specified services to the City relating to the conduct of the Consolidated General Municipal Election November 7, 2000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that specified services include pre- election, election day, post - election and data processing services, Registrar stock supplies and vendor services and supplies, all as set out in the certain document entitled "Election Services and Supplies Registrar /City Clerk" and agreed upon by the Alameda County Registrar of Voters and the City Clerk of the City of Alameda. Di. e Felsch, City Clerk City of Alameda CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13243 ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF PER DIEM ALLOWANCE FOR CITY OF ALAMEDA BUSINESS TRAVEL WHEREAS, Section 22 -7 of the Charter of the City of Alameda requires that the Council annually fix the per diem allowance for traveling expenses of officers and employees of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the per diem allowance for all officers and employees of the City of Alameda while attending to official duties, both within and outside the city limits of the City of Alameda, shall not exceed the amount of the actual expense incurred per diem by such officer or employee, in addition to the costs of transportation actually incurred. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the per diem allowance for meals will continue to be $40 /day (tax and tip included). When per diem is claimed and some meals are included in the registration, a deduction should be made as follows: $ 8.00 Breakfast 12.00 Lunch 20.00 Dinner $40.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such expenditures shall be repaid to such officer or employee y the City of Alameda upon submission of a statement of such expense in form satisfactory to the Finance Director of the City of Alameda. IN WITNESS, WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City this 6th day of July , 2000. g/tte , Diane Felsch, City, Clerk City of Alameda CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13246 AUTHORIZING AN ADVANCE UNDER THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda, acting pursuant to the provisions of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.), has activated the Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda (the "Commission ") and has declared itself to constitute the Commission by Ordinance No. 2103, adopted on August 4, 1982; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law, the Commission is performing a public function of the City and may have access to services and facilities of the City; and WHEREAS, the City and the Commission have entered into a Cooperation Agreement in order to: (1) Set forth activities; services and facilities which the City will render for and make available to the Commission in furtherance of the activities and functions of the Commission under the Community Redevelopment Law; and (2) Provide that the Comr ±sion will reimburse the City for actions undertaken and costs and expenses incurred by it, for and on behalf of the Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby advances, and directs and authorizes the Finance Director of the City to establish a budget encumbrance for the City obligations under the Cooperation Agreement in the amount of $807,150 for fiscal year 2000- 01.
