APPOINTING KARIN LUCAS AS A MEMBER OF THE
PUBLIC UTILITIES BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
pursuant to the provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, KARIN LUCAS is hereby
appointed to the office of member of the Public Utilities Board of
the City of Alameda for the term commencing July 1, 2000, and
expiring on June 30, 2004, and to serve until her successor is
appointed and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda, in adjourned regular meeting
assembled on the 5th day of July 2000, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and
Mayor Appezzato - 5.

AS A MEMBER OF THE CABLE TELEVISION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
pursuant to Sections 2 -13.1 and following of the Alameda Municipal
Code, and upon nomination of the Mayor, THOMAS N. BILLINGS is
hereby appointed to the Cable Television Advisory Committee of the
City of Alameda, representing the interest of Consumer Affairs, to
fill the unexpired term of Stanley Lichtenstein, commencing July 1,
2000 and expiring on June 30, 2003 and to serve until his successor
is appointed and qualified.
