AMENDING MASTER FEE RESOLUTION NO. 12191
TO PROVIDE FOR AN APPEALS FEE UNDER THE
CITY WIDE DEVELOPMENT FEE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Alameda Municipal Code and the California Government Code
provide that the City Council shall set fees reasonable to recover costs of providing various services;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1928, adopted by City Council on June 30,
1978, City of Alameda fees are adjusted annually based on the Consumer price Index (CPI); and
WHEREAS, the City Council, at the August 27, 1991 Special City Council meeting,
directed City staff to amend the Alameda Municipal Code to reflect that City fees shall be set by City
Council resolution; and
WHEREAS, City of Alameda Resolution No. 12191 ( "Master Fee Resolution "),
adopted by the City Council on February 2, 1992, as amended, codifies existing fees for various
services and permits; and
WHEREAS, on February 20, 2001, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2854,
establishing a Citywide Development Fee (CDF) Program providing for appeal and adjustment fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda
that the Master Fee Resolution be amended by the adoption of the following Public Works and
Building Permit processing fees:
Request for Citywide Development Fee (CDF) Adjustment:
Actual cost of staff time and materials - $1,500 Deposit (Submitted at the time
of request for adjustment)
Request for Appeal to City Council:
Actual cost of staff time and materials - $2,500 Deposit (Submitted at the time
of the request for appeal)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all existing fees not inconsistent with fees set
forth in this Resolution shall remain in effect.

adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of March, 2001, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and
Mayor Appezzato - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
