TERMINATING THE JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT
CREATING THE CALIFORNIA POOLED INVESTMENT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda does hereby
resolve and order as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section VII.1(b) of the Joint Exercise
of Powers Agreement (the "Agreement ") creating the California
Pooled Investment Authority (the "Authority "), acting in concert
with the government bodies of all the contracting parties, the City
Council' hereby terminates and rescinds the Agreement with the
intention that the Authority be dissolved and its assets
distributed as provided in Sections VII.2 and VII.3 of the
Agreement.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to transmit a copy of
this Resolution to the Secretary of the Authority.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the
st day of May, 2001, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and
Mayor Appezzato - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
