APPOINTING STEPHANIE J. MYERS - UMOJA AS A MEMBER OF THE
SOCIAL SERVICE HUMAN RELATIONS BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to the provisions
of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination by the Mayor,
STEPHANIE J. MYERS -UMOJA is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Social Service
Human Relations Board of the City of Alameda, to fill the unexpired term of Michael Gwynn, for
the term commencing July 1 2002, and expiring on June 30, 2004, and to serve until her successor
is appointed and is qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 2nd
day of July, 2002, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilniembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and
Mayor Appezzato - 5.
