AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A MASTER
FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH_ THE ALAMEDA COUNTY
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY (ACTIA) TO
RECEIVE PROJECT — SPECIFIC FUNDS FROM MEASURE B 2000
WHEREAS, Measure B 2000 half -cen

WHEREAS, Measure B 2000 provides funds for specific projects identified as
Tier 1 Projects in Alameda County's 20 -year Transportation Expenditure Plan, and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda will receive funds for Project 10 -
environmental analysis, design, right- of -way acquisition, utility relocation and construction of
improvements to the Traffic Operation System (TOS) for SR 260/61 (Posey /Webster Tubes) and
to SR 260 between Alameda and Oakland and access between downtown Alameda and I -880 /-
980, and
WHEREAS, ACTIA has drafted a master funding agreement with the City of
Alameda for the receipt of Measure B funds for this project, and
WHEREAS, no funding for Project 10 will be made available until the execution
of the Project Specific Funding Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Alameda authorizes the City Manager to:
1. Execute the Master Project Funding Agreement with the Alameda County Transportation
Improvement Authority for the I -880 Broadway - Jackson Interchange ACTIA AGMT #
2001 -20, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
2. Execute, in the name of the City, all necessary contracts, agreements, accounting and
reporting methods hereto for the purposes of carrying out the City's responsibilities as
specified in these agreements.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 6`h
day of August, 2002, by the following vote to wit:
