Resolution 13516CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13516 AMENDING THE OPERATING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7052, adopted by the City Council on November 1, 1966, authorized the execution of an Agreement with the City of Alameda and the East Bay Regional Park District relating to the operation of City's public beach; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda and East Bay Regional Park District now desire to enter into a First Amendment of the Operating Agreement for the same properties by extending the term of this Agreement for 25 years expiring July 31, 2027; and WHEREAS, the proposed First Amendment to the Operating Agreement does not have a significant effect on the environment and therefore is statutorily exempt under section 15301 of the CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) Guidelines; and WHEREAS, the First Amendment to the Operating Agreement contains the covenants, terms and conditions to be entered into and is on file in the office of the City Clerk of Alameda. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the First Amendment to the Operating Agreement between the City of Alameda and the East Bay Regional Park District for operation of the facilities described in the attachment. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of August, 2002, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, and Mayor Appezzato - 4.
