APPOINTING Marie Gilmore
TO THE OFFICE OF COUNCILMEMBER
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to the
provisions of Article II, Section 2-7(C), of the Charter of the City of Alameda, Marie Gilmore
is hereby appointed to the office of Councilmember of the City of Alameda to fill the unexpired
term of Al DeWitt, commencing 09 / 0 4
-and to continue until 8:00 p.m. on the third
Tuesday in December following the next General Municipal Election, at which a successor shall
be elected and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 4th
day of September, 2003, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Kerr, and Mayor Johnson - 3.
NOES: Councilmember Matarrese - 1.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
