Resolution 13647CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13 6 4 7 ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN EXISTING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT WITHIN LOT 9, PARCEL MAP NO. 4744 AND RECORDATION OF QUITCLAIM DEED WHEREAS, Parcel Map No. 4744 was approved by the City Council of the City of Alameda on May 20, 1986 per Resolution No. 10912; and and WHEREAS, said Parcel Map included dedication of Public Utility Easements; WHEREAS, commercial development has resulted in the easement area not being used in its entirety for its intended use; and WHEREAS, 'a portion of the 'ease ment is no longer a necessity to Alameda Power & Telecom and can be vacated; and WHEREAS, a plat and legal description of the portion of the easement to be vacated have been prepared. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda that it hereby ordered that a portion of the Public Utility Easement within Lot 9 of Parcel Map No. 4744 be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8333 (c) of the Streets and Highways. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall cause certified copies of this resolution, attested under seal, along with plat, legal description and quitclaim deed to be recorded in the County Recorder's Office and from and after the date of this resolution is recorded, said portion of easement within Lot 9, Parcel Map No. 4744 no longer shall constitute easement.
