Resolution 00835RESOLUTION NO. 835. TRANST3IIRTT1 TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS 2ROM THE SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PUND TO ?HE SCHOOL GENERAL ?UND. WHE:REAS, the sum of twenty-five Thousand DollarSo(25,000.00), which_ was derived from fire insurance on the old Lincoln School building, has been deposited ia the School Construction f'und, and it now appears that the sum of twenty Thousand Dollars 020,000.00) is required to reimburse the School General Nand to pay the salaries of teachers and other txpenses connected with the care and maintenance of the city schools, AND WIERZAS, Section 1622a of the Political Code of the State of California pro- vides that if the apportionment of moneys for teachers' salaries Le at any time insuffi- cient to pay said salaries or the expenses connected alth the care and maintenance of school buildings, then the city board of education may use so much of the surplus Of any building fund 6s may Le necessary to meet such deficiency, now therefore, be it ?ESOLVED that the sum of tmenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) be, and the same is hereby transferred from the School Construction '?und to the School General Joun for the purpose of making up the existing deficiency in said last named fund.
