WHEREAS, in the °minion of the Council of the Oits of Alameda, public interest
and necessity. demands the c0 nstruction. of a modern fire-house in the vicinity of Webster
Street and Pacific Avenue,
AND WEEREAS, the property hereinafter described is, in. thn judgment of She Council,
a most audtable location for said fire-house, and the price asked therefor, to-wit, Tour
